Ashley, a native Mainer, is no stranger to politics. Some of her earliest memories are of her Grandmother working on Senator Olympia Snowe's campaign. Currently, she attends the University of Southern Maine, where she is pursuing a BA in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Risk Management.
Ashley first became aware of Ron Paul and his message during the 2008 Presidential Debates. She found his message of fiscal conservatism and personal liberty to be a breath of fresh air in the arena of partisan politics. Having a father who served in Operation Desert Storm, Ashley agreed with Dr. Paul's philosophy of supporting our troops by bringing them home to protect our borders rather than nation-building abroad.
In 2012, Ashley was elected to serve the Maine Republican Party as National Committeewoman. As the youngest person ever elected to serve on the Republican National Committee, she knows that she is facing an uphill battle, but is excited to hit the ground running.
When she's not busy with politics, Ashley enjoys reading, rock-climbing, baking her quasi-famous bacon chocolate chip cookies, and playing with her black lab, Guinness.
